The Bremer Mieterschutzbund represents your interests as a tenant:in.
We are at your side:Advising and protecting you from unjustified claims of your landlord, such as:
Rent increases
Notices of termination
Housing defects
Service charge statements
Heating cost statements
Warnings
cosmetic repairs
Lease agreements
Keeping of animals
Rent reduction
We work exclusively with lawyers who have many years of experience in the field of tenancy law and receive regular training.
We not only advise you, but also handle all correspondence with the landlord or his lawyers. You will receive a copy of all correspondence.
However, according to German law, a prerequisite is that you become a member of the Bremer Mieterschutzbund.
The membership fee is € 82,00 per year, plus a one-time admission fee of € 20,00. You will not incur any further costs, not even for correspondence with your landlord or his lawyers. The membership continues annually, unless you wish to cancel it. The period of notice is 3 months to the end of the calendar year, and it is not possible to resign in the year of joining.
Should a legal dispute arise, the Bremer Mieterschutzbund is no longer allowed to represent you. We are only allowed to represent you out of court. In the event of legal proceedings, you will not be left alone.We will recommend experienced lawyers who will continue to represent you in the legal proceedings. However, the costs of the court proceedings cannot be borne by the Bremer Mieterschutzbiund.
